So are the Democrats trying to hide the homeless, so that those visiting the DNC Convention don’t get offended??

Hmm I find this to be a disgusting display of events.  There will be no way to prove the DNC is involved!  5 big screen TV’s donated in hopes the homeless might watch the Convention?   Well since they have such a huge stadium outdoors and also have the huge arena, why not just invite the homeless to come see what the Democrats would like to do first hand??

I want to know what makes this time so special that they are giving out free bus tokens, activity tickets, Big Screen TV’s and the list goes on.  I mean is this a practice that has been used in the past??  Will this become a trend in the future?  I’m curious as to where the money for the TV’s, all these free bus passes, and vouchers for events and activities is coming from?  I bet I could guess ONE place….  TAX PAYER DOLLARS!!!!!!    I’d be demanding answers if I were a resident of Denver, but that’s just myself.

Of course they will cover any links between the DNC and the funds used by the City of Denver and also Colorado Coalition for the Homeless who have joined to give the free bus tokens away, and the TV’s purchased.  I mean after last week and the Obama Campaign getting called out by the New Media about the possibility of breaking lottery laws in Minnesota , they adjusted the way they were doing their Meet Obama Sweepstakes.

Denver Offers Activities To Homeless for DNC Convention
Hat Tip (The American Pundit)

In order to keep homeless residents out of sight during the Democratic National Convention, the city of Denver is giving away passes to local activities and televisions have been donated to homeless shelters.
A plan has been developed to provide interested homeless people with free access to cultural activities. They include the Denver Zoo and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, and they won’t have to worry about paying for transportation.
“We’ll have bus tokens if they need them,” Parvensky said.
Also five, big screen TVs are being donated to a teen day shelter. One hope is to engage some of the homeless children in the political process by allowing them to see convention unfold on television. But another purpose is to draw them away from the streets while the Convention is underway.
What’s the likeliness this will work? How many homeless residents are going to give up panhandling to a massive migration of delegates and visitors, instead going to the zoo? Pardon my skepticism, but I don’t see that happening.
